Common questions

Is the cofounder alignment check free?
Yes. It is a free web tool. No signup, no payment, no card. You answer twelve short statements and see your read-out straight away.
What does it measure?
How you operate together across six areas: roles and ownership, decision rights, equity clarity, direction and vision, communication and repair, and commitment and capacity.
How long does it take?
About three minutes. Twelve statements, one agreement rating each.
Is it a personality test?
No. It does not sort you into types. It looks at how the two of you work as a partnership, not who either of you is.
Do I need my cofounder present?
No. Answer from your own point of view. The most useful version is each of you running it alone, then comparing where your reads differ.
Is my data stored anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you rate is sent or saved. Refresh the page and it is gone.
